About Me

My aim is to use my human-centered design skills to make a social impact by incorporating psychographic research and designing for internationalization. As a firm believer in teamwork and building bonds to achieve extraordinary results, let’s work to make a change together!

With strong research and liberal arts backing, the additional study of UX/UI design has given me a different perspective on how to approach issues that require reform, understand people's needs, and be an empathetic, active listener when finding solutions. My passion for problem-solving, analyzing situations from other perspectives, creativity with strategic design, and eagerness to learn are why I strive to improve my skills to become a better designer. I hope to use my capabilities to uncover and solve user and stakeholder pain points to create a more enjoyable user experience. 

Currently, I am a UX/UI Design Specialist at the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, an organization that strives to raise awareness and put an end to child violence, exploitation, and abuse. In my undergraduate, I was named Valedictorian and also served as President of the City College of New York’s Undergraduate Student Government where I serve as a liaison between our students and administration.

I have been working on my Arabic proficiency as it is one of the most widely spoken languages. This picture was taken from my Study Abroad in Amman Jordan in December of 2019. I was awarded a Certificate of Achievement from the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literature at the City College of New York for taking all Arabic classes offered at CCNY!

Aside from my passion for design, some of my hobbies include spending time with friends and family, traveling, learning new languages and cultures, and embarking on adventurous outdoor activities!
